We can also organize excursions to other town of Latvia . For example, Jurmala that is known as the summer capital  and is a very popular resort of Latvia .

Throughout this century, Jūrmala has been Riga 's playground, from the elegant days of the 1930s to the years of occupation. Jūrmala was also the ultimate destination for the Soviet Union 's elite retirees. Countless military officers collected their pensions on this small peninsula from Lielupe to Vaivari. You too can explore beautiful beaches, soothing spas and seafood restaurants. 

It is the famous spa-town that is situated only 25km away from Riga, stretching like a ribbon along the coast, Jurmala offers some of the best relaxation resorts in Latvia. In summer, its natural resources such as mild climate, sea and fresh air, curative mud and spa water and of course the 30km long sandy golden beach and pine forests, attract plenty of holiday-makers. It might cheer you up to know that the beaches at Majori and Bulduri have been awarded the coveted mark of any self respecting beach community worth its weight in tourist dollars, the prestigious Blue Flag

You can easily come over for a day from Riga to Jurmala by train or car. Trains leave every 10 - 20 minutes from the central station’s platforms 3 and 4, from 05.00 to 23.00. If you go by car, you have to stop at the control post near the Lielupe River to pay a 1Ls/day toll.

When the crowded streets begin to irritate the citizens of Riga , they look for the closest escape that will take them furthest away from city life. New Yorkers go to New England to watch beautiful nature in summer and the leaves change colour in autumn, but Latvians go to Sigulda. The historically rich town of Sigulda dominated by castle ruins and unspoiled nature won't disappoint.

 Sigulda, a town in the Vidzeme Region, is situated in the most picturesque part of the primeval Gauja valley. Reddish devon sandstone forms steep rocks and caves on both banks of the river. Because of this, since time immemorial Sigulda has been called the Switzerland of Vidzeme.

You will have a great opportunity to see Turaida Rose's Grave, Turaida Museum , Reserve Sigulda Castle Ruins, Gutmanis Cave andFolk Song Hill.
